Warranty

Any advertised motorcycles are far from new, therefore, No Warranty is Given or Implied. The mileages may be genuine but again, due to the age of the motorcycles, this cannot be guaranteed, it may be the mileage covered since rebuild or restoration.

1950 BSA M21 600cc side valve single with a current V5C. The bike is complete and runs good. The engine revs well, good oil teturn, holds tickover well and does not smoke or rattle. It has been stood for some time, the rear stand is twisted, it needs some tidying, and a general recommission. Its basically a barn find... but one that definately does run good. I do not think it has ever been restored, it is more of a scruffy survivor. All original tinware, chronometric speedo and fittings throughout. £4000

1938 OK Supreme 250 fitted with a JAP high cam engine. V5C present and it is historic, so no tax or MOT required at this age. This model was offered for one year only as JAP stopped producing this type of engine. It is part restored but still needs ongoing work. The wheels have been rebuilt, recent rewire, new piston etc. The tank has been painted but shows bubbles so it probably has pin holes and may need doing again. The rear stand is slightly lop sided and the kickstart ratchet can slip if you don,t use the valve lifter... so there are areas to look at. But the bike is complete, runs great, lights up, is registered and is exceptionally rare. £8000

1950 BSA A10 Golden Flash. V5C. This is an early A10 as it was registered in July 1950 and 1950 was the first year the BSA A10 was launched. This has an engine number 334, and since BSA always left the first 100 numbers out of the sequence, this makes this the 234th BSA A10 ever made. It runs very sweetly and is fairly tidy. It is very quiet and pulls very smoothly. It is not mint, but its one to use and run as it is. £4500. Click on the image for more pictures

1954 Ariel VH500 or Red Hunter. Comes with a V5C. The bike is an older restoration that has not been used for a few years. At some point it looks to have new wheels, new exhaust, fork oil seals, shocks, seat and paintwork. I would guess that it was restored maybe ten years ago and has mellowed back a bit now, but is still smart enough to use as is. It has the alloy head fitted, started easily and ran fine & had the ignition advanced, if you retard the lever the tick over settles back to a nice slow and even tick over. It from a ‘numbers’ dealer so the reg shown has gone on retention, but the bike comes with a current V5C and what will be an almost identical age-related registration number. This bike is one to ride or restore, light recommissioning is the modern phrase, which translates to a service and you are using this machine.

Extremely rare and superbly restored 1938 Coventry Eagle 350cc model P35/2 known as the "flying 350". Possibly a bit of sales advertising going on with the name there because these are a Matchless engined machine with the same sort of performance as a contemporary Matchless. Never the less these are rare with a capital R, hence the price. V5C and running fine, this is the only one for sale anywhere, and the only one you will see probably ever anywhere, so the price is the price. £10000

1951 BSA 350cc B31. V5C present. Older restoration, still tidy, runs good and pretty much good to go. The gear selection is very heavy. I assume with being stood. It has been riden around the block, so hopefully when used it will free off £3250

If you want to ask questions please ring Barry on 01260 277458. 1956 Ariel Square Four. Late four pipe model. V5C is present. The bike starts and runs good and is charging. It is tidy but not mint. Probably a good usable bike. It needs a head gasket apparently as it does let a bit of oil out, but it does not appear to affect its starting or running, but will need one. Not a major job I am told. Barry is open to discussion and exchange for older machinery. £10000

1936 B1 BSA 250cc side valve single. V5C present. Part restored. Been stood some years. Has an anemic spark... so won't quite run. £2750
