Trade Classic Bikes is based in the heart of the country, Derbyshire, and is run by myself, Richard. This is a small business providing motorcycle parts from a biker, for bikers, Small Enough To Care, Large Enough To Compete!
My philosophy is to supply excellent quality spares, which I would be prepared to use on my Classic Bikes, at a reasonable cost. If the quality isn’t excellent, the product won’t be either listed on the website or supplied by me. Once the part has been checked and I’m happy with it, then I look at each part to see what I would be happy paying for it, then after the boxes have been ticked, it will be listed and supplied by me.
Having restored several Classic British Bikes in the past, I'm only too aware of the costs of parts being available on the market. I have been where you are, looking out for that last part needed to complete the bike, but also being careful not to spend too much money on it!
I have been to the various shows around the country with a pocket full of cash ready to get the parts on the list, then getting home and being asked 'have you had a nice day?', then 'have we got any money left?' Pulling out a little bag of parts I had purchased at the show, my reply is 'yes, lovely day, and no, not really'!!!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one!!
Any phone callers will be met by a cheerful individual, not a nasty, hurry up and let me take your money, type of attitude, there is no minimum amount clause either, so if you only want to spend a £1.00, then that is absolutely fine!
So, why purchase from us, basically, the long and short of it is, I am a biker for bikers, who supplies quality checked parts at affordable prices, to the everyday biker. I am not rude, or an arrogant person and I won't subject my customers to that type of service, as I myself wouldn't like to be treated in that way.
Collections can be made but I would ask that you ring to make sure I'm going to be there and that I have the parts in stock ready for you.
